frequently asked questions
What benefit is there using outside IT service for business?
- Most small and medium businesses do not require the services of a full time IT department. What you need is full time access to IT support without the overhead salary, benefits, taxes, insurance, etc. of an additional full time employee. Even though your business may not be IT centered, if your computers or network go down it results in lost revenue or at best, delays to your customers. There is a peace of mind knowing that this one aspect of your business is covered with a simple phone call to people who specialize in fixing things quickly at minimum cost. The mindset of true IT people is get things up and running quickly and correctly.
What benefit is there for me as a home user?
- Home users will have access to help with their home computer from real people. Not help from an intimidating person behind the counter with a bad attitude who makes you feel stupid for having a problem in the first place. Computers break...period. It happens to everyone who owns one at some point. Everyone has accidently deleted something or put off making a backup just a little too long. Won't it be nice to call someone who lives in your neighborhood who will help and not judge you? We do this for a living so your satisfaction is paramount. We are a small business that can only thrive by positive word of mouth. You are our most important asset. On top of that, our cost is a fraction of the price gouging that big box stores charge. We are so confident that our prices are better, we ask you to call a big box store and get a quote for computer repair. Then call us. Did I mention we do FREE diagnostics.
Do you have a location we can bring our equipment to?
- Short answer is no, because you don't have to. We will come to you as part of the service we provide. For Businesses, it is probably not even an option to move equipment in most situations. For Home and Home Office we provide the same onsite service as we do for our business customers.
If you don't have a location, what happens if my computer requires work that cannot be repaired on site?
- Let me clarify. We do not have a traditional "brick and mortar" location. We have a computer shop outfitted with the equipment we need for extended diagnostics and fixes. If needed, we will take your computer with us and perform necessary repairs. It will be returned within 24 hours unless otherwise stated at the time we take possession. There is NO extra charge for this.
Do you sell parts or build home computers?
- Yes we do. We keep a limited stock of generic items and access to great prices on others. We absolutely will build custom computers (in fact we love to). We can build whatever machine you want to suit your needs from basic home use to full video, gaming, and home media needs. Let us know what you want and your budget.
I just need a bunch of basic workstations for my business that are inexpensive. Can you get some?
- Yes we can. We come across lease turn ins for name brand computers all the time. What is available at any given time varies. We can also build build custom workstation computers for you.
Do you repair notebooks?
- In almost all cases we do. We fix all software issues, Hard Drive, Keyboards, and memory. There are gray areas when it comes to other components. Notebooks are not as modular as desktops so certain parts are not easy to come by or are manufacturer specific. Since we don't charge for a phone call or diagnostics you won't be any worse off from asking.
What guarantees do you have?
- We guarantee our workmanship. This means that if a specific issue turns out not to be fully fixed after we leave we will correct that specific issue with no additional cost. For custom built computers we guarantee the parts for a year.
What type of payment do you accept?
- We accept: Cash, Check, Paypal, Mastercard and Visa.
How do you charge?
- We have incident, hourly, and contract rates.
What is your support area?
- We presently provide computer repair and support for Indianapolis, Franklin, Greenwood, Bargersville, and the rest of Johnson county.
